At tjene øjeblikket (Serving the Moment) is an almanac, a journey of apprenticeship, a tale of finding being and gentle doing in a trembling world.

A woman packs her rucksack with longings for a deeper connection to the natural world and other human beings and with intentions to unlearn what no longer serves her. Her expedition takes a year and leads her each month to a new person with an ecologically connected practice.

The book points to a new ontology, a rooted and spiritual being and learning, through sensual enchantment, ancestral knowledge, deep self-knowledge, attentive presence, dreams, community, song, a language of care, prayer, the flow of enigmatic waters, listening, rituals, sacred activism, stewardship of the land, the regeneration of the soil, silence, and through being in the right relationship to an animate world.
